I found out I was pregnant the day after Bryce left for his 6 month deployment. Two days later, I flew home to Texas for 6 months. I had to come up with a plan (and quick) of how to tell our families.
I found out I was pregnant on February 6th, 2010 and my moms birthday is February 9th so I wanted to give her a birthday gift that revealed the news. I bought a frame and quickly threw together a sign that said, “Baby Stringer Coming Soon”.
I gave it to her on her birthday and as soon as she saw it, her jaw just dropped!! Then she showed it to my dad and sisters and of course they just freaked out! It was so funny! I should have gotten it on video. Later that day, I was talking to Bryce’s parents on skype and showed them the frame and they were so excited too!!!
