I am SO excited to be linking up with Kelly's Korner today with SUYL: Military Families!!
My husband joined the Air Force a little over 2 years ago. Right before he joined, we were in our 2nd year of college. He really had the calling to serve his country and be something greater than himself. We got married and then after basic and tech school, we got orders to go to Ramstein, GERMANY!!!!
We got married and 3 weeks later, we headed to Germany! Scariest thing I have ever done. Newly married, new country, new home, new EVERYTHING!! No family, no Starbucks, no TARGET!!!
My husband, Bryce, deployed for the first time last year, February 2011, for 6 months. While he was deployed, I went back to TEXAS. I found out I was pregnant right after he left. Thankfully, he was able to get back right in time for the birth of our baby girl, Ava Drew!!
After our time is up here in Germany, we hope to get back to the GREAT state of TEXAS!!!

Hey there! I found you through Kelly's Korner. My husband is in the Air Force, too and we are stationed in England! We've only been here for about five months so we're still getting adjusted but it's quite an adventure, huh?
I would love a day at Ramstein right now! :)
I'm also from Texas currently stationed in Ramstein, though we leave for Turkey in about a month. Congratulations on your little one.
Thanks for sharing! I love Ramstein and all the beauty that Germany has to offer! We were stationed in England and drove to Germany for eye surgery for my husband (we made a little vacation out of it!). Enjoy your time overseas!!
My husband really really wants to be stationed in Germany!
Wow...I was stationed with my husband in Mannheim about 11 years ago and I just went through some of your posts and can say I truly miss it. My son was born in Heidelberg and we lived in Mannheim. Your pictures bring up great memories...thank you for sharing them.
Hi Elizabeth! I am a new follower, found you through Kelly's Corner. My husband and I got married and a few weeks later moved to the other side of the world in Okinawa, Japan. Both sure are a long way from Texas! We PCS this summer. No Texas options for us, but we are hoping to get as close as possible lol!
We are also from Texas but stationed in Hawaii. I can't wait to get back to the big d.
My husband was stationed at Tinker AFB in OKC, but we're in Northern Virginia now. I have been getting the itch to go overseas for a tour..not sure how I could adjust! :)
Found you from Kelly's Korner linkup. My husband is also stationed at Ramstein!
